The brief for this shoot was very natural, incorporating a mix of locally-grown and dried flowers. The cake featured a soft caramel watercolour wash with ivory and pale green stippled effect, textured royal icing and small flecks of gold leaf. The ethereal decor provided the ideal backdrop for the floral spiral.
This was my first collaboration post-lockdown, and it really did feel great to be out creating with other suppliers again (socially distanced, of course!).
